Jeff Williams is one of Only a handful of guitarist ON EARTH who compose using this new approach to the acoustic guitar called " Flat Tapping". In this style the guitar is laid FLAT and played from above with both hands "like a piano". In addition, sound textures using the wood surfaces of the guitar for percussion create a unique sound to set your production apart from the crowd . His solo guitar compositions can be custom taylored to the video or film subject. Many existing compositions adapt easily with wonderful results. Attending USF, Jeff discovered fusion jazz in a recording by Jean Luc Ponty, a renowned child prodigy in classical music and now a jazz fusion violinist. Other influences at that time included Steve Morse and the Dixie Dregs, Steely Dan, Pat Metheny,
I have been in the industry since 1981.
