About Me

I started out in broadcasting in 1995 at the age of 16. My career began at a tiny, rural station where I was able to learn both analog and digital systems. I have spliced and operated quarter-inch tape reel-to-reel machines, and I also have excellent audio production skills with systems like Pro Tools and Adobe Audition. While I have superior knowledge of current and past systems, I am always excited about new technology and possess a quick and efficient learning curve for new software and machines.
My experience in radio and television covers nearly every technical aspect in the field including on-air hosting and board operation, audio production and imaging, studio and field mixing, remote broadcast operation, master control, video tape operation, engineering, sales and more. I have extensive knowledge of digital audio workstations, automation systems like Audio Vault and Miranda ITX, and digital distribution systems.
I pride myself on being an excellent technician with impeccable timing, a keen ear for precise sound, and a talent for troubleshooting equipment and computer systems. I am happiest in a fast-paced, challenging work environment where I can fully utilize my skills with numerous tasks to manage and problems to solve. I have a serious passion for radio, and broadcasting in general.
In my personal life, I spend my time building and customizing computers, reading about science and technology, overdubbing my own music on drums and guitar, and hiking the parks of Los Angeles with my dog.

I have been in the industry since 1995.
