Hi there!

My name is José Ochoa. I have 12 years of experience in production audio. I regularly mix location sound for unscripted shows, commercials, industrial videos, documentaries, and newsmagazine programs.

My focus whenever hired into any project is to always deliver the best intelligibility of dialog possible. And also to never miss out on sound coverage. I believe that every sound bite has the potential to be very crucial to a show. If the sound bite arrives as a perfect take in an infomercial or as something pivotal in a live interview, I am always there to record it clean.

When it comes to sound equipment, I guess I am a geek. Everytime I get the chance, I'll talk shop with fellow industry friends about the "latest and greatest" in location audio. And it ends up reflecting on the gear I provide for my shoots. My gear has never let me down and in turn, never let a production down. My gear has always worked reliably in the past especially in many challenging locations such as in the marshlands of Florida, on dirt racetracks, and in heavlily RF congested areas like New York Timesquare.

When discussing a project, I look into all the needs of your shoot. From there, I build the appropriate sound kit package to make sure it suits your show perfectly.
