About Us
Tom founded MediaRacket/Film Sound NYC in 2003. Among his film credits are the Warner Bros doc "Stanley Kubrick: A Life In Pictures", in which he worked closely with longtime Kubrick associate and screenwriter Anthony Frewin, and "Doughboys" starring Vinny Pastore (The Sopranos) and ThinkFilm's "Shortbus". Among Tom's television credits are the filmmaker reality show, "On The Lot" and The History Channel. Tom has also worked on many TV and radio ads for AOL, ESPN,The Food Channel, Volvo, Kraft Foods, and The NY Times. He was Sound Designer/Sound Editor on Lionsgate's "Amexicano", "Rock the Paint" released by Allumination FilmWorks starring Douglas Smith (HBO's Big Love) and features original music by Wycleff Jean and the documentary "Norman Mailer: The American", a definitive work on the controversial American author that goes beyond the Mailer of the bookshelves to Mailer the social critic, family man, and filmmaker. It's a look into the live of a complex, intellectual, working class hero. More recently, Tom has worked on "Tanner Hall" starring Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) as well as advertising work for BMW and HYPNOTIQ.
