I remember my first interview with Sally at The Reel Thing, I was working as freelance production assistant, and I was looking for something a little more regular. At that time I didn't know the difference between a 3/4" tape and a D2, but I'm a quick learner, and I was able to learn the ropes of the business. I had the good fortune of learning under some veteran editors, who not only taught me the ins and outs of editing, but more importantly, how keep your clients happy. Within a couple of years I was sitting in the big chair, editing for clients. I soon realized I had the best job in the world. I got to work on computers all day, and create stories out of a jumble of clips.
I have been in the industry since 1994.
