Judd Bares has been in the video production business since 1996. With a B.S. in Mass Comminications from McNeese State University, Bares has worked his way up while working on several types of projects within the television and film industry. Day-to-day, he produces television spots for local and regional businesses in Southwest Louisiana. When not doing spot work, he fills his time with some of the coolest of gigs. Credits include Aerial DP for 'After the Catch IV' in New Orleans-He owns his own gyro-stabilized camera mount; Camera Assist/Utility on the same show; Documentary DP for an expose on the unexplained murders of the 'Jeff Davis 8'; Camera Assist/Stabilization for an upcoming Godfrey Regio feature; Camera Operator for local and regional network high school and collegiate sporting events; DP on 'Renegades of Southern Rock'; Lighting Director for Slavadore's AWARE music video.
Whether he is working directly for his clients, or as a hired gun for a larger production company, his experience is what helps get the job done. From writing and pre-production to lighting design and post-production, Judd has done it all while learning from some very talented folks along the way.
