About Us
Indiana University’s Radio and Television Services—IURTVS—brings a wide range of educational services to the academic community at IU, the residents of Indiana, and to the rest of the United States.
In addition, IURTVS provides the surrounding area with radio and television programming that ranges from local public affairs and news to national programming from National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting System (PBS).
IURTVS is housed in the Radio/TV Center on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University. The building includes a $7.5 million addition of 19,000 square feet that adds principally classrooms and offices for the IU Department of Telecommunications and for the Virtual Indiana Classroom. The facility, as a part of the Multi-campus Technology Project, is being used for distance education and links all of IU’s campuses and other instructional sites.
