My name is Alexandre M. Oktan. I have working as a freelance cinematographer / camera operator here in Toronto for over ten years. Please see links below. I have a lot of experience with Broadcast Television Camera Operations, some experience with Underwater and Aerial Cinematography.
My experience at the CBC and ET Canada has given me great handheld camera abilities for documentary shooting as well as lighting interviews. My experience in Commercials and Music Videos sharpened my skills and knowledge of great image making through lighting, special equipment and working with professional crews.
I own a Canon 5D Mark II with a 24-105mm lens, a 50mm prime, a Kessler 3' Cineslider, a Revolution Head and an Oracle Controller for Motion Control, Motion Timelapse or simply for a dolly move to add incredible production value to any video. I also have a GoPro Hero3 and accessories, lights and access to a C300 package, lenses and more lights.
In addition I work with a DJI 800s with a Zenmuse Gimbal Carrying a GH2 for aerial cinematography as a gimbal operator. This package comes with a Blanket Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) from Transport Canada allowing commercial flights anytime, anywhere in Canada.
I am in great physical shape, very pleasant to work with, professional, I'm completely bilingual in English and French and have some working knowledge of Spanish.
