About Me

Boston born and San Diego bred, Jessica Metivier's first memories of makeup start very early on. By 4, she was well versed in the application of lipstick (she was very good at coloring inside the lines) and spent a lot of her time sitting on the bathroom counter playing and experimenting with whatever makeup she could sneak out of her mother's room. At age 11, Jessica booked a national Mattel commercial and was impressed by only one thing: the Makeup Artist. A job doing makeup?! Who knew.
Fast forward 7 years, and Jessica was in LA attending the reputable Make-up Designory, learning everything from color matching and contouring, to bullet wounds and bald caps. After soaking up as much makeup education as she could, she then attended and graduated from the beautiful beach campus of UCSB. While in college, Jessica worked with a prestigious event planning company, helping to execute some of Santa Barbara and Montecito's biggest weddings and events. Now loving life as a freelance Makeup Artist, she has done everything from America's Next Top Model to becoming the Beauty Expert on the nationally syndicated show, America Now for three consecutive seasons. But her real love? Making women look and feel incredibly beautiful in their most personal and important life moments.
