I currently hold a degree in Video Production from The Art Institute of Dallas, where I excelled as an undergraduate student, specializing in post-production. I honed my skills during my education crafting mock trailers and short films.
My work history encompasses 10 years, doing anything from freelance production assistant work for nationally broadcast series, to in-house animation and motion graphics work.
For 6 years, I worked as a Motion Graphics Artist for an advertising company. Not only producing anywhere between 3 and 5 commercial spots a day, while effortlessly switching from one project to the next and back. It was there that I developed a passion for typography, and compositing. All while single-handedly monitoring and organizing the company’s digital assets. From there I moved to an animation company, creating infographic videos that taught writing, reading, math, and even finance, as well as creating and updating in-house templates. I even have a letter of recommendation from said employer.
Those who I have had the pleasure of working with would say I am highly organized, and have a meticulous attention to detail. I have always been able to take direction as well as work independently. I am very deadline oriented, and capable of carrying out any task that is required of me.
I have been in the industry since 2009.
