After serving our Country and fighting 2 wars in Desert Storm and Somalia, our head chef Matthew Kalan returned home safely, and went back to what he loved doing... cooking! Matt graduated from Westlake Culinary Institute, and worked for Los Angeles's critically acclaimed restaurant, "Firefly," in Studio City for 6 years. He was also trained by the notorious and respected chef, Kelly Courtney, a James Beard award winner.
