Over the past 8 years, I have worked at countless different companies in various editorial capacities. Most recently I edited a short film titled “Back”, which won Audience favorite at the 168 Project film festival. Prior to this, during my tenure at Apple, I taught with over 2500 clients, from ages 6 to 86, in over 20 different software applications. Most importantly, I have delivered over 200 consultations in Final Cut Pro, and over 20 appointments in Color, Apple’s professional color grading application.
After joining Apple, I created a Brooklyn-based boutique HD post-production company, HSL Editorial. While at HSL Editorial, I worked with companies ranging from Clinique to Major League Baseball. While directing HSL Editorial, I also served as an Editor, Compositor, Online Editor/Colorist, and Motion Graphics Artist. HSL grew, and we opened a second office in the Los Angeles area.
Prior to working for Apple and HSL Editorial, I worked on “The Broken Sole Trilogy” as an HD Online Editor/Colorist on the Avid Symphony Nitris. “The Broken Sole Trilogy” is the story of 6 New Yorkers, and how their lives were affected by the tragedy of September 11th, for the better and the worse. Other past credits include Online Editor/Colorist for “Suicide Killers”, a ground-breaking documentary on the mind of a suicide bomber, and Editor for “Cinematherapy” a television show for the Women’s Entertainment channel.
8 years of editing experience, as well as over 4 years of consulting experience, has allowed me to develop a unique and diverse skill-set. My mastery of Final Cut Studio allowed me to obtain Apple Professional Certifications in both Final Cut Pro & Color. Experience in high definition acquisition, editing, compositing, rotoscoping, technology, and theory (720p to 4K) enables me to work in diverse mediums and file formats. I look forward to speaking with you further about why I would be an excellent fit for your company.
I have been in the industry since 2004.
