About Me

Bill Lintner is a lifelong learner and a team player who is not threatened by unfamiliar information, who considers how his actions impact others, who, if committed to do something, will do it and do it correctly.

I have been a part of the editing scene in Dallas for the last 30 plus years. I worked as a video editor at Videopost and Transfer for almost 20 years and then at Moving Pictures Editorial until 2006. At that time I became freelance film and video editor and worked at various high end post production houses such as 3008 and others.

I am accomplished at editing with Premiere Pro and AutoDesk M&E Smoke, but I have experience editing with almost all the top edit platforms. I find that even though they all differ, I feel that each platform is nothing more than a tool to be utilized by an artisan.

Two years ago I tried to switch careers with a sea change type of move. I found that I missed the creative outlet that editing afforded me. But the time away only heightened my urge to create.

I believe that nothing happens in a vacuum, I always consider how my actions impact others, I love being a part of a talented and creative team.

I am quite comfortable dealing with change, surprises, and unexpected problems.

I have a desire to learn and want to continuously improve.

I feel that there is much to be learned about the future from studying the past.

Per the Gallup organization's Strengths Finder 2.0 assessment, my top five strengths are:

1) Connectedness: Faith in the links between all things and believe there are few coincidences,
that almost every event has a reason.
2) Adaptability: Flexible enough to enjoy creating solutions as needs arise
3) Learner: Great desire to learn and continuously improve.
4) Responsibility: Take psychological ownership of what I say I will do.
5) Context: Understand the present by learning about the past.

I have been in the industry since 1975.
