Nuno Francisco has been incredibly successful in his Editing and Post-Production pursuits, having worked frequently with Portuguese most known Post-Production houses like Bikini and Ingreme, as well as Production Companies like Garage, Take it Easy, Miss Dolores amongst others.
Internationally recognizable brands like IKEA, Citibank, VolksWagen, Pfizer, MTV, Staples, Vodafone, GE Money, Pepe Jeans, Dannon, Toys ‘R’ Us, have also trusted the Editing of their commercials into the hands of Nuno. These films serve as a brand’s public face, and, as such, these major corporations do not entrust just anyone with their creation.
The same can be said for such major Portuguese brands, like fashion label Susan Pinheiro, Portuguese Telecom, national radio station Antena 3, Luso, AKI, Super Bock (Portugal’s most popular beer), Meo, Feira Nova, and RTP, one of the country’s two national TV channels. Multi-Development Corporation, the leading commercial
developer of inner-city retail space in Europe, frequently commissions Nuno Francisco to direct, edit, and execute Post-Production for film documentation of events – from art exhibitions to fashion shows to book fairs and music fairs – at the Armazéns do Chiado shopping mall in Lisbon. In addition, the major bank BES chose him to edit an
ad starring Cristiano Ronaldo, perhaps the most famous soccer player in the world today.
Nuno Francisco also created the Motion Graphics for the credits of Golf Report, a program on SIC News, a privately owned television station. His other television
achievements include Editing MTV news programs during the MTV European Music Video Awards 2005 in Lisbon for Nordic MTV.
Nuno Francisco also contributes to the art world in other ways, for instance Editing and creating Motion Graphics for the stage show Sanity Lane by 409 Entertainment and Carlton Wilborn Productions.
Also, projects in which he plays critical roles receive honors. His Editing for Amnesty International, “Classic Monsters” ad, won the Gold World Medal from New York Festival, for example, while “Vodafone ADSL” took home two awards in the category TV and Cinema at the 2007 SINOS, the
International Festival of Advertising and Communication in Portuguese. The 2006
SINOS also presented a Bronze Award to “Funeral,” and in 2007, the EL OJO Festival
nominated the ad Nuno Francisco edited for Take it Easy (a Portuguese production company) for Finalist status.
Currently living in New York City since May, Nuno Francisco has worked for Embrace TV, a network starting in October, Editing and doing Post Production for different shows, and has also done a Motion Graphics trailer for a dance documentary called Move (the trailer has aired at Fox News).
I have been in the industry since 2003.
