Kristina Krug is a photojournalist, creative producer, and location manager/scout with over 20 years of experience and a solid, cross-disciplinary skill set in both stills and video production.

With a degree in visual communication, Kristina started her career in Chicago as an art director and creative producer. Inspired by filmmakers Bergman, Bertolucci, Antonioni, Jarmusch, and Kubrick, and the poetry of Carl Sandburg and T.S. Eliot, her photography evolved and she started working as a freelance photojournalist for Chicago area newspapers in 1999. By 2013, she was shooting editorial and advertising assignments, working as a producer, and scouting locations for her own projects and other productions.

Kristina specializes in story-driven projects including branded content, documentary, interviews, and feature films.
