I have come to call myself a hardcore FINISHER. In the which, I look at the details of a video that's being made and I know instinctively the right touch that puts the icing and cherries on the project. I have done and gone through the process of pre-production, production, and post-production when it comes to making a film or video and I realized that I thrive in the post-production world. That is where I get to finish the project and make it look beautiful by editing it together, making the sound enjoyable, and manipulating the color of the image to make it look pleasing to the eye. These are the things that excite me by having all of the video assets come together to create a wonderful story.
I have been working in the video editing/production for over 7 years now. I continue to improve and learn new skills in the video production world. Whether it be going to school, taking online courses, or asking professionals in the industry and working with them. I alway enjoy learning something new.
I grew up in Alberta, Canada and I now live in Provo, UT working at BYU in the Athletics Department as a video editor. I'm a duel citizen which is very nice to have. I am married and have 2 wonderful daughters.
I love to read, play video games (when I have the time;)), go hiking, volleyball, soccer. I love the beach and want to live in Oregon on the coast. I think that that is the most beautiful place that I have seen in my travels.
