Washington, DC, as a news assistant and I worked on a Norman Lear production, while attending college.
Upon graduation, I moved to North Carolina where I became a producer for PM Magazine at WFMY-TV and later an Executive Producer for a weekly news program at WXII-TV, Winston Salem. During that time I produced several documentaries, and interviewed well-known public figures, including: Maya Angelou, Astronaut Alan Bean, Fashion Designer Alexander Julian and Nobel Laureate Elie Weisel.
Switching my career to Radio Sales and Management, I became the first Director of Sales for Beasley Broadcast Group.
After moving to Las Vegas in 2005, I was given the opportunity to host my own radio show, where I created, “The Vegas Insider” and interviewed celebrities and entertainers, as well as appearing on many Red Carpet Events. I was also the Executive Producer of the Las Vegas Holiday Show – honoring all the celebrities and entertainers of Las Vegas. Over 12 hours of interviews were conducted with these entertainers talking about their favorite Holiday memories. The program aired on Christmas Day. This was the first time in Las Vegas history that anyone put together a show of this magnitude.
My experience encompasses Television, Radio, Print, and Internet. I have been involved in news, public affairs, programming, promotions, sales, management, and have conducted radio and television interviews. I have written articles for several local magazines and recently, produced video content and advertising concepts for websites of major clients. My experience has given me a wealth of knowledge in all areas of broadcast media.
Today, I am the Vice President of Development for Stella Productions in Las Vegas.
