I'm an aspiring writer/director with a degree from Boston University. I have just wrapped on my first feature and am eager for more production work. I lived in LA for two years where I supported myself working freelance. In doing freelance, I've learned a lot about individual set positions (camera, sound, editing). While in LA, I interned with MPCA. There I learned the basic office duties required of any entry level position (package prep, script coverage, call roll, business phone etiquette, filing reports/inventory). I've written and directed six shorts of my own, including two half-hour documentaries. I've also written a 60-page pilot, a feature, and am currently working on a novel. Directing has taught me the administrative role of management, as well as budgeting, and the standard industry jargon. I own a Canon 7D w/ a tripod, and Final Cut Pro 7. I also have a car so I can transport crew members or make runs. I have an interest in socially-conscious films, period pieces, and emotional realism. I live in Florida right now, but am all-to-eager to relocate to New York. I have included my resume below. I look forward to hearing from you.
Below are links to two of my shorts, 1 music video, and flickr below, they are all a bit old, I've improved since then.
