About Me

Justin Powell is a sound engineer, music producer, mixer, and multi-instrumental musician from Southern California. He has been involved with music since the age of ten, playing in numerous bands over the years and studying music and production throughout high school and college. After graduating from Citrus College with a Recording Arts degree in 2002, Justin has worked in numerous recording studios. He has worked along side various acclaimed producers including Matt Squire, Mark Hoppus, Chris Holmes and Shawn Sullivan. He is quickly building a reputation for great quality and production with all styles of music from pop to rock to hip hop, making him a sought-after commodity with artists and record labels.

In 2016, Justin began doing live sound for Citizen’s Church in Redlands, CA. He is known for his driving, rock style live sound mixes and was made lead over audio production in 2017. In 2019 he partnered with Psalm 33 Music of Yucaipa to begin doing sound installations and sound system modifications for local churches. He has since helped multiple churches across the Inland Empire achieve high quality professional sound. His specialties include system design, system optimization, and the training of volunteers to use the equipment properly.
