John Zecca has traveled the world recording sound for documentary films for nearly 30 years. He’s worked on films exploring topics as varied as China’s “open-door” policy, hemophilia in Africa, the American Ballet Theatre’s recent visit to Cuba. His work has appeared on all major networks including PBS, the BBC, and ARTE France. A member of the Cinema Audio Society and IATSE 52, John has taught sound and video workshops in India and lectured in sound design at the New School in New York City. His most recent project sound mixer for the film Rebirth and sound design for the multi-screen video installation at the 9/11 memorial in New York City
