About Me

Award Winning Director of 2 distributed narrative feature films, the arthouse psychological drama, "The 4th Dimension" & the suspense thriller, "The Fields." 10 years experience as a videographer and editor.

I graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Film & Media Arts in 2003. I developed my first feature throughout film school and went into production upon graduating. My first feature was the arthouse psychological drama, "The 4th Dimension." My credits on the film were co-writer, co-director, co-producer and co-editor. The film was selected at 20 international film festivals in 8 countries and received favorable reviews in Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, IndieWire and Film Threat. It won awards at The CineVags International Film Festival, the Philadelphia International Film Festival and a nomination at the Montreal World Film Festival. In 2008, the film was distributed on DVD by TLA Releasing, and on VOD by CineDigm via Apple iTunes and Sony Playstation.

In 2009, I went into production on my second feature, the suspense thriller, "The Fields," starring Academy Award Winner Cloris Leachman and Tara Reid. My credits were co-director, co-producer and co-editor. The Film toured festivals and won awards including Best Feature and Best Directors. It was distributed by Breaking Glass Pictures in 2012 and is currently available on Amazon Prime and tubi.

In 2011, I shot my first short film as a Director of Photography, a psychological thriller called "Bardo." Also in that year I co-founded Tree of Life Films & Photography with my wife, Jennifer Mattera. Over the course of 9 years, we have shot over 200 weddings together. In addition to creating indie wedding photography and videography, we also produce corporate work. We have produced videos for Discover Magazine, BASF, The Culinary Arts Institute and LIQUENT, Inc. We have produced 2 music videos for the band, "Terrible Orange Things." Our music video entry for the Sigur Ros Valtari Mystery Film Experiment has over 130,000 views on YouTube. Our services include photography and video production including directing, cinematography, editing and coloring.

Trailer for my first feature film, "The 4th Dimension." Synopsis: Jack is a loner confined to a workbench in the back of an antique shop. When a mysterious woman presents him with a broken antique clock that is not to be fixed, unexplainable events begin to occur. After finding Albert Einstein's journal on his still unsolved Unified Field Theory, Jack becomes obsessed with analyzing time and theorizing its connection to his supernatural experiences, his surreal dreams, and his perception of reality, only to lead to the discovery of the biggest mystery of all - himself.
