About Me
Ryan Scafuro an American filmmaker and director of photography currently living in London. He is a member of the Local 600 Cinematographers Guild in the US, and BAFTA Crew in the UK. With two decades of industry experience, his work has been featured at major international film festivals and broadcast worldwide.
He most recently directed the sketch comedy show “Syd & Mike” which won the audience award at SeriesFest, and was selected to participate in the Tribeca Creators Market. His documentaries “Phantom Cowboys”, “American Renaissance”, and “Bending Steel” have all premiered at Tribeca and have won awards at festivals across the globe. His short films have garnered over a half million views as Vimeo Staff Picks.
On the small screen, his cinematography credits include the Emmy Award winning “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”. and the new hit late night show, "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee".
I have been in the industry since 2000.
