I am currently a Production Assistant for the CW Network working on the CW up-fronts to help prepare for the fall line-up in television. I am also a Graphic Artist, Production Assistant and On-Air Talent with WPIX-TV, New York; which is the flagship areas CW network. I have been employed for five years now, and I am in the market for a full-time position within the television industry.
I find myself to be a unique and talented individual. I am an outgoing, organized team player who values the importance of teamwork. I work well with others and work well under pressure. I am interested in a position within a production team so I can utilize my knowledge; and grow as an individual in my profession. I am well adverse in many programs such as Adobe CS3, Curious World Maps, ENPS, TONS and the Microsoft templates. I am also capable of working with both PC and Mac computers.
While at PIX11, I have worked on News Graphics for special events, live coverage and entertainment guests. I have also worked as a Production Assistant-pulling and ingesting video file, running scripts and running prompter for our news anchors. I have worked with our segment producers and created segments as well. For example, I have booked entertainment guests, and conducted celebrity interviews for our line-up.(ex; Tristan Wilds, Julie Andrews and Tom Felton)
Recently, I have become part of the on-air talent team and I am a member of AFTRA. I conduct my own segment called the “Rocco Recap”. (www.youtube.com) In my recaps, I review and provide commentary on the CW network shows, including “Vampire Diaries,” Gossip Girl,” and “Supernatural.” I have conducted interviews with the CW stars to gather the inside scoop on the shows of the CW. I have a strong interest in my career choice and I do hope that you will consider me as an applicant.
