I’ve been an audiophile and musician pretty much all of my life and have been a professional Audio Engineer for 23 years (-1 due to Covid). I’ve worked somewhere around 3000 live events including concerts from symphony orchestras to hip hop, touring theatrical plays and musicals, corporate, sporting events and many others. After going to college for sound technology and music I started off working in studios mixing and editing jingles, and sound design for audio books. Then I moved into live sound and worked my way up in the Dallas and Austin markets engineering concerts and music festivals such as SXSW and ACL Music Fest. That led to 5 tours with Blues Traveler then a brief stint in Missoula, MT where I taught sound design and designed several shows and sound system installs forbthen U of M School of Theater and Dance. I’ve been in Atlanta for 10 years working events ranging from Concerts, corporate, an install and engineering at The Carter Center, to engineering Tyler Perry’s son’s christening. It’s been an interesting career and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me still.
I have been in the industry since 1994.
