My background reflects a combination of strong academic qualifications in Communication, Media Management, and Business as well as a track record of accomplishments in media production that spans across numerous diverse environments. From capitalizing on new video trends and technologies to increasing website traffic / visibility and improving editing efficiencies, I have made many contributions over the course of my career.

Currently I am serving as the Assistant Director of Multi-Media Marketing in the Media Relations Department of Ohio University Athletics where I work closely with the supervisor to design videos and Internet marketing campaigns. This involves developing video packages targeted for web content, team and individual highlights, and commercials to promote athletic events. Some of the key contributions I have made while in role include:

• Currently working on refining extremely valuable knowledge of trends in video and online media as well as editing process; produced / edited 200+ videos utilizing Final Cut.
• Pioneered project uploading, organizing and naming videos produced in last 2 years onto new video-based website,
• During tenure of role, increased website traffic 12% average each month.
• Instrumental in introduction of “Twittering” pre-game commentary, play by play, and post-game highlights of football games.

My prior roles included orchestrating additional video projects, operating cameras / video equipment during live performances, and providing keen insight on working within an extremely limited budget to effectively meet media or promotional goals. Very early in my career I also had the unique opportunity to play a key role in collaborating on the update of a radio / television station logo to more effectively reflect the branding of the organization and gain visibility.
