My name is Paul DeCegli and I am a New York/New Jersey-based editor/assistant editor.
My clientele has included The Robin Hood Foundation, Blowback Productions, The People’s Improv Theater, CBS Digital, The Sundance Channel, Why-Q Marketing, Z100, and several documentary projects. I have also just started my own production company, Wunderkind Media, which is a full service production entity with a specialty in Concept Design and Storyboards. Wunderdkind Post-Production services offers both Avid and Final Cut Pro editing capabilities. My work experience has included a project based Post-Production Assistant job for Viacom's 2009 mtv-U Woodie Awards, Post-Production Supervisor for a NYFA funded documentary by filmmaker Esther Podemski's The Peasant and The Priest, Assistant Editor on Dan Fogler's (Fanboys, Man Up!) directorial debut Don Peyote, and am currently working with Emmy Award winning producer/director Mitchell Stuart on a variety of projects which include work for Ourstage.com, THQ, WWE, Cantor Fitzgerald, and The Heyman Hustle.
I am well versed in Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer, having worked on the former for over ten years. My other specialties include Color Correction and Grading, Media Management, Encoding/ Quicktime Exports, and graphic work with Adobe After Effects. I have worked with a variety of HD formats as both an on-site media support as well as a cameraman- working with Canon C300 and C500s, Red Epic, Sony PMW-F3, Blackmagic Cine Cam, and the Canon 5D series.
