I am always curious and believe in the power of listening to and telling accessible, compelling stories.
I have been involved in the media industry for several years, fulfilling a variety of roles. These include documentary film production, working as a Multimedia Technician in a student union/campus conference center, independent Media Producer for non-profits and individual clients, and miscellaneous production support. Some of the projects I've been involved with include the following: PBS affiliate (KET) documentary about Research on Violence against Women, the World Equestrian Games, organizational media campaigns, Voces de Vecinos, and many others.
Currently I am attending The New School in the International Affairs Master's graduate program, with a concentration in Media and Culture.
When I'm not working or in class, my head is occupied with keeping up with family, friends, trying out a crazy recipe in my tiny kitchen with my wife, reading a good book, listening to a new podcast, or just watching Netflix over takeout. First and foremost I value cultivating relationships and telling stories, as I believe community and learning is essential to a fulfilling life.
