About Me

I am an actor, dancer and choreographer. My passion is modern and creative dance but I have experience in other areas such as musical theater, jazz, tap and ballet.

I'm currently teaching a Pop Music dance class at All That Dance in Milford, CT. At the moment I'm focusing on the dances of Lady Gaga.

Now that I've graduated from college I'm looking forward to gaining more experience as a choreographer and training to be a better teacher and dancer.

Biography below-
In December 2010 I graduated from Central CT State University with a BFA in Theater and Dance. I was born into a family of dancers. My dad's mother opened a recital school called Kicks in Shelton, CT when she was 18 and it has flourished ever since. Her daughter now owns it and my mother grew up dancing there. My mother now owns a recital school called All That Dance in Milford, CT. I began dancing at Kicks and later danced at my mom's studio when it opened 15 years ago; I now teach jazz and modern classes there.
While attending CCSU from 2006-2010, I became the President of the dance company on campus called Dancentral. I assisted with the organization of our company's events alongside the artistic director, organize rehearsals, work as a rehearsal assistant for guest choreographers as well as choreograph for the company itself. I also helped with the planning for events that Dancentral participated in; including local dance festivals as well as the American College Dance Festival around the New England area. I'm responsible, patient, organized and efficient.
I also performed with/choreographed for the CCSU Theatre Department. In April 2009 I was the dance captain and in the ensemble of "Chicago" with choreographer Susan Streeter. In December 2010, I choreographed "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". This month, the CCSU Theatre Department will be performing a modern piece I choreographed in their annual "Night at the Museum" event at the New Britain Museum of American Art.
Most recently I worked with St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT choreographing their musical, "Once Upon a Mattress" in April. In the past I have choreographed "West Side Story" and "Miss Saigon" for Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT.
Throughout my dancing/choreographing experience, I have worked with students of all ages from elementary to collegiate performers; all of different dance levels. This has been both a fun and challenging feat. However, seeing the performer and staff side of theatre, I can appreciate the amount of time, effort and attention to detail that is required behind-the-scenes. I am extremely dedicated to creating a fun, well-rehearsed and polished show.
