About Me

I am a New York based event producer who will be permanently relocating to the Los Angeles area in August. I am now seeking employment in television production, specifically on scripted series projects.

I am currently the Director of Events at Maverick Events, a full-service event production company based in New York City. I have been with Maverick since its launch in the summer of 2008, and over the past three years have played an integral role in the development and success of the company as it has grown into a respected boutique firm in one of the most competitive markets in the world. As my resume reflects, I am the managing director of all aspects of Maverick’s business, including both internal affairs and the events we produce. From inception to execution, I am charged with the management of every aspect of each event including developing and tracking budgets, negotiating contracts, soliciting and securing sponsors, marketing and event promotion, managing all event staff and vendors, and executing complete onsite production.

My event portfolio includes many types of events, from large-scale charity concert benefits and dinner galas, to corporate conferences and private social occasions. Working closely with both non-profit and corporate clients as well as high end talent, such as Lady Antebellum and James Taylor, has provided me with the opportunity to gain an understanding of these various management structures and how to manage the different personalities that come along with them. In applying these skills, I have been successful in securing honorees such as Senator Arlen Specter for The Greg Wolf Fund and headline talent for various organizations including John Mayer, The Fray, Ingrid Michaelson, and Gavin DeGraw, among others.

Before joining Maverick Events, I spent a year at New York’s premier Off-Broadway theater, The Public Theater. At The Public, I was exposed to the production of dozens of shows including the revival of HAIR during the 2008 Season of Shakespeare In The Park and its eventual transition to Broadway. Additionally, I received my BA from New York University with a concentration in Theater Production and Social Advocacy Through the Arts. I believe my experience in events coupled with my background in theater production will provide me with sufficient skills as well as a unique perspective as I transition into television production.

I am energetic, easy to work with, extremely detail oriented, and thrive in a fast paced work environment. Based on my extensive experience managing large-scale events and daily business operations, combined with my intimate understanding of the workings of both corporate and non-profit organizations, and my tireless work ethic, I believe I will be a valuable addition to any production team.
