About Me

Battle-tested experience and a unique boldness are what make Maverick Atteberry stand out among the crowd. He’s currently a videographer at FOX59 and CBS4 in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he works with reporters to turn daily news stories.

2013 and 2014 brought a bombardment of breaking news experience for Maverick, as Indianapolis made national headlines for a particularly violent summer, and Fort Wayne totaled record-high homicide rates, many happening during his nightside shift. Maverick also shot a number of natural sound packages for WANE-TV, including a series he pitched on the behind-the-scenes aspect of the Fort Wayne Tincaps.

Before starting at WANE-TV, Maverick spent four years at WEIU News Watch in Charleston, Illinois. Known as a control room leader, Maverick directed a WEIU newscast that went on to win a Mid-America Emmy and received third place at the College TV Emmy Awards for Best TV Newscast. Over three summers, he trained interns from all over the country at WEIU’s internship program.

Maverick also has experience as a production assistant at NewsCenter17 in Decatur, Illinois, and interned at WCIA-TV in Champaign, Illinois.

In his spare time, Maverick runs a successful eBay store with his two older brothers, and is terrible at disc golf. To see the newest and greatest work Maverick has done, be sure to check out his Youtube channel.

I have been in the industry since 2007.
