Lindsay Tyler has 10 years of high-level media and production experience, and a broad working knowledge of the industry. As a photo editor for PEOPLE Magazine she has produced celebrity, lifestyle, beauty and human-interest shoots in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe. In the last year she has been producing advertising, packaging and retail shoots for companies like Gatorade, Samsung, Sears and American Girl.
Because of her ability to produce dynamic, creative working conditions and develop relationships with top-notch talent on both sides of the camera, Lindsay quickly became an indispensable asset at PEOPLE, and has glowing references from several high-level media executives at Time Warner, including PEOPLE's last two managing editors. At the magazine, Lindsay hired and managed professional staff, coordinated all aspects of photo production and worked directly with celebrities on set as well as with some of the best photographers in the United States.
Lindsay also has a passion for art, photography and design. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Graphic Design at the University of Michigan's School of Art & Design. Then, while working full-time at PEOPLE, she earned a Master of Arts in the History of Decorative Arts and Design at the prestigious Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Lindsay has won a Society of Publication Designers Award for Outstanding Photography in 2006, and been a guest lecturer at the Parson's New School for Design.
