I am now fullltime freelance as a V1 or V2 video operator. I have over 40 years experience as a V1. I just recently left WNET/NJTV as the Director of Technical Operations where I handled all technical aspects of the network as well as all field operations as an EIC. Prior, I worked at New Jersey Network as an Engineer In Charge of remote and studio operations until it ceased operations on June 30, 2011 after 40 years of service. I was the engineering supervisor of the engineering and production crews ensuring technical quality of the productions. I managed the productions on site from personnel to rental equipment. I designed and built their remote truck with 6 cameras, operated their satellite truck as well as several microwave live trucks. I built the New Jersey Lottery control room and assisted in the design of the video control room. I was the go to person if something out of the ordinary had to get done. I have many years experience with setting up and operating a microwave network as well as doing freelance video operator for the networks on many types of shows. I have experience in both HD and SD equipment. I have been involved in broadcast television since 1975. 1978 thru 2007, I owned and operated Melovision Productions, a full service production facility, doing commercial and industrial productions. I am looking for a full time position with a company where I can use my experience to assist them. Thank you in advance for your interest. I look forward to speaking with you.
All the Best,
I have been in the industry since 1974.
