Anthony Restorations - A family-owned company dedicated to the preservation of original art, rare books and movie memorabilia. Over 2,000 archival restorations completed for clients including Ray Bradbury, Academy Award-winning filmakers Ray Harryhausen and Robert Skotak, Forrest J Ackerman and Jerry Weist.

1983 - 1986 Oliver Jar Animation (CoFounder) A thee-dimensional animation studio whose clients include HBO, Lifetime and Nickelodeon. Winner, New York International Film Festival, nominated for four Cleos.

1985 - 1995 - Director of Film Facilities, Emerson College, Boston. Responsibilities included supervising the college’s film facilities; classroom and remedial instruction to students; dispersal of production and editing equipment to 400 students; design and construction of sound transfer and mix facilities, editing suites and animation facilities; preparation of department’s operating and capital budgets. Supervised the expansion and re-structuring of the department; designed floor plans and supervised outside contractors. Founded the Emerson College Film Archive and Cinematheque.

PUBLISHING CREDITS:
2004 - Editor and publisher DEAD END YELLS, WEDDING BELLS, COCKLE SHELLS AND DIZZY SPELLS. A re-print of Leo Gorcey’s notorious 1967 autobiography. Secured fnancing, prepared deal memo’s and legal clearances, supervised graphic layout, supplements and printing, edited new Foreword and Afterword, handled all advertising and distribution.

FILM RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION EXPERIENCE:
HIDDEN HOLLYWOOD TWO & HIDDEN HOLLYWOOD THREE - one hour specials for American Movie Classics. Located original nitrate and safety elements at 20th Century Fox, supervised film transfers and tape to tape restorations.
Restoration and preservation of silent-era motion pictures, including locating and retreiving original source material and inter-title recreation. Some works include:

CRUEL, CRUEL LOVE (1914) with Charlie Chaplin. Restored version chosen to become part of the Library Of Congress Permanent Collection.

THE CARETAKER’S DAUGHTER (1925) with Charley Chase.
THE STING OF STINGS (1927) with Charley Chase.
WHY GIRLS LOVE SAILORS (1927) with Laurel & Hardy.
DUCK SOUP (1927) with Laurel & Hardy.
PASS THE GRAVY (1928) with Max Davidson. Shown as part of American Movie Classics Film Preservation Program.

The Three Stooges - restored Mow Howard’s personal 16mm prints and home movies, as well as those of director Norman Mauer.
