I am Jamill Crooks, a Media Production Professional. I have worn many hats as a hyphenate in production. I have a career that spans ten years. I currently work in the sports broadcasting industry for ESPN. However, I have worked in various industries of Media. In the Audio Visual industry, I worked as Video tech II, Lighting tech I. I've worked with broadcasting cameras, projector and teleprompter setup. In lighting, I've setup lekos, pro-level tungstens, and pars. I can operate light switchers, and I also have done room design. In the live event production industry, I was a on-field camera operator and an end-zone camera operator for the Atlanta Falcons as well as the Atlanta United. In film, I have worked as camera grip and best-boy in the set design department. I have experience in lighting, video, and audio needs. My main goal, focus, and dream job is to be a content creator in production. I have great planning, multi-tasking, organization and high-level writing skills. I've worked with company executives to ensure that all productions, meetings, and conventions are well planned out and executed to perfection for clients. I have pro-level camera operation and post-production experience. I get along well with clients, I work well in team-oriented settings, and I can lead. I am big on organization and communication. I also practice my craft as a Filmmaker. I currently have two financially invested projects in various stages of production. One is scheduled to debut in a film festival later this year and the other ready to be pitched to a professional network. I have no doubt that I will be a good addition to any production company given my work-ethic and skillset. I look forward to work with you and showing my value. Thank you
I have been in the industry since 2007.
