I am currently working with a special effects props company in Van Nuys, California. I have worked with the special effects company developing props and creating new inventory systems to keep the flow of production on point. Embry Blue is a creative professional with a spectrum of experience ranging from a Freelance team-leading Beauty and Special FX makeup artist to an Etsy Store operating unique Dollmaker selling her creations around the world.
Blue's works have been featured in Art Gallery's across the country and she is known for her original and inimitable style which she self-describes with words like "intuitive" and "ethereal".
She is also highly regarded as one of the most hardworking and tenaciously independent event makeup entrepreneurs in New York City, having worked closely and often exclusively with the world famous NYC nightlife and experiential production company Dances Of Vice.
Her signature large-scale and high-speed multiple performer applications made her the city's go-to artist for turning production fantasies into reality.
Away from nightlife and makeup artistry, Blue is in a constant process of creation. Her fantastical creatures fill her workshop as she populates her Etsy shop with one-of-a-kind Dolls and Creatures with stories that fill us with wonder as to what it must be like in their world and how marvelous it is to have them in ours. She also transforms herself into creatures and otherly beings, seeing herself as like a canvas and clay to be created upon.
A true artist, Embry Blue seeks to be inspired by others who have opened up the doorways and portals to the limitless universe of creative discovery and desires to find filmmakers and other ambitious artists to work with and continue her career, her creative development and artists journey through this world.
