I have been working in film and video industry since 1999. I started in ISKRA SL, a 35-year-old animation studio and postproduction film service company located in Madrid. Since then I have been supervising film lab processes at Fotofilm Deluxe, Image Film Deluxe and Technicolor Spain. Moreover I have also been operating film transfer and telecine in addition to coordinating postproduction workgroups in several short movies and feature films. The fact that ISKRA SL works for almost all Film Archives in Spain, has given me the chance to gain a great experience in working with damaged films as well as in the optical and digital restoration of images.
In 2003 I worked as First Assistant Director in the HD full-lenght documentary “Camino de Santiago. El Origen” and as postproduction supervisor for its film transfer. In 2005 I became a freelance offering my film and video postproduction experience to labs, film studios and film archives. I also bought a Sony HDV camera and VTR and worked as operator for Galician Public TV, Univisión TV (USA), NHK (Japanese TV) and some low-budget documentaries and short-movies.
Despite my multidisciplinary profile all the works I have done have something in common: I face all jobs with responsability and great communication skills to optimize and organize human and technical resources. I´m also a self-tought person who feels great curiosity about new technologies applied to film, video and internet.
I have been in the industry since 1999.
