I've been a freelance engineer for almost 10 years and, while I enjoy being on location, lately I've been focusing on audio post. I enjoy working with my clients to maximize their budget to ensure the project gets maximal attention. While I own a full rig, I am equally comfortable at, and have good working relationships with, many of the commercial studios in the area.
