My name is Louis Dane Shubert and I am a recent graduate from Emerson College. I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, specializing in Film Production. My main area of expertise is Post Production. I am proficient with Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere, Photoshop, Encore, DVD Studio Pro, Davinci, Color, Pro Tools, and Logic.
I work well in both fiction and non-fiction. I understand pacing, mood, and tone for a variety of deliverables, and understand all types of workflows. My history includes dramas, comedies, PBS style documentaries, and commercial advertisement.
I've worked at Emerson College since 2009 serving the entire schools Television Radio and Film Post Production Labs. What started out as an apprenticeship, I quickly moved up to Lab Manager and held that title for 2 years.
Additionally, I recently finished an internship at Element Productions, Boston’s most trusted commercial production house. There, I worked with clients such as the Celtics, Sprint, Unreal Candy, and Subway to name a few. I was also used as Camera B operator in a Paul Pierce Ad.
I am reliable, efficient, and always keep a positive outlook. I collaborate well with others to translate content and creative ideas from directors and producers into a clean edit.
Finally, I have worked on over 7 shoots during my time at Emerson. I started out as a PA and a DIT, and have done various jobs such as Camera OP and Lead Editor. I can operate many types of cameras, and have a good understanding of framing, motion, and focus.
I have been in the industry since 2006.
