About Me

Classically trained composer and song writer in popular styles, with a Ph.D. in music theory and years of college teaching experience in music theory, composition, and orchestration. My composing work is much loved by listeners. I have worked for top professionals in the Los Angeles music world, I have written music for a number of films and concert venues, have had high level clients in the L.A. music world, and worked on projects including Simon Cowell's X Factor TV show, a large orchestral score by Oscar-winning film composer Fred Karlin, the L.A. Philharmonic, and many others. I got to successfully work in the studio with Rickey Minor (of American Idol, Whitney Houston and Jay Leno's band leader), and a number of X Factor rock producers at Ocean Way Studio in Hollywood.
