Gabriele ciampi is an italian film composer and conductor, born in rome, italy and currently residing in rome and los angeles. He attended the well regarded national academy of st. Cecilia music conservatory where he studied composition and conducting.
He received a b. A. In italian literature and cinema from la sapienza university of rome in 2002 before continuing his musical education by earning a master in film criticism and film scoring under the guidance of the prolific italian film composer, sergio bassetti.
He has also earned a master's degree in composition and film scoring at la sapienza under the tutelage of stefano cucci. He has conducted the budapest symphony orchestra (recording published in 2004) and conducted the royal chamber ensemble (recording published in 2007).
Additional publishing and composing credits include the album christmas dream (in 2006) and the album soul ethics (in 2007) which received significant airtime on the italian radio.
