About Me

For your reference, until the fall of 2009, I was the Managing Editor of the now shuttered GayWired.com, and jn 2012 I ended a two-year stint as the lead travel expert/editor and resident travel blogger for Moxie Q Media, a cross-platform "tastemaker" destination (online and mobile) targeting urban, sophisticated women. As a bit of background, MoxieQwas established in November 2009 and currently counts more than 300,000 unique viewers and nearly 2 million page views per month.

Currently I am a contributor to a number of other publications, as I have been for more than a decade. Some of those include the Advocate Magazine, for which I have served as both an on-air interviewer and the resident travel advocate/expert, TripOutTravel for which I served on the 2010 TripOut Travel Awards Nominating Committee as well as on the 2011 NewNowNext Travel Awards Nominating Committee, Passport Magazine, Instinct, Bent and Beige Magazines in the Great Britain, and the Toronto-based Canadian luxury travel and design magazine, Homefront where I served as a freelance contributor and also had a quarterly lifestyle column called “Living Wells” through 2010. Earlier this year I was also a featured panelist at the 2012 Los Angeles Times Travel Show.

Just recently my Living Wells blog permanently moved to FrontiersWeb, the online home of Frontiers Magazine, one of the nation's oldest LGBT publications.
