About Me
I am an award-winning screenwriter with an M.F.A. in that field. I have written several short films, one of which is currently working the festival circuit, having already played at such prestigious venues as USC and San Diego Comic Con. At USC's Southern California Business Film Festival I won Best Screenplay. I have also co-written in post-production.
• Driven and ambitious from the start, I went to
college two years early at age 16, skipping the last two years of high school.
• I have been interested in the Entertainment
Industry for some time. I have written 15 feature length-screenplays, having
completed the earliest when I was 16. I am currently enrolled in graduate film school
at Chapman University’s Dodge College. I graduate in May with a Masters in
Screenwriting.
• I am proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Beyond screenwriting I have been active in other
aspects of film development, production, and post-production. I have taken a
course in editing and have directed a number of shorts at Chapman.
• Prior to
my enrollment at Chapman I was employed as a Public Relations Intern for the
entertainment blog mizhollywood.biz. My job was to promote the website and arrange
for Miz Hollywood to get interviews with celebrities. This required me to contact
and communicate with the agents, managers and publicists of the various celebrities
involved. I was able to set up interviews with Carolyn Lawrence, Antonio
Sabato, and Kendra Wilkinson, among others.
• I have previous agency experience. This
past May I interned with International Creative Management at the Cannes Film
Festival.
• One of my proudest accomplishments was
the film project I collaborated on this past summer, The Vipassana Order, a feature length film I co-wrote and produced.
•I have interned at Warner
Brothers Studios, working directly for Academy-Award winning writer/producer
Akiva Goldsman at Weed Road Pictures.
-In my various internships at Abbot Management, Weed Road Pictures, MES Productions, Principato-Young Entertainment, and as a freelance script reader, I have read, evaluated and covered over 800 spec screenplays.
