Janet’s extensive experience has allowed her to grow as a performer on and off stage. As a performer, she’s known to be hypnotic, charming, and fearless. She is a well seasoned performer in multiple dance styles all over the world. From Vaudeville to Bellydance she shares a story with her audiences.
Whether it’s a five minute or two hour long production, she is dedicated to the performance and the people who are experiencing it. Seeing performance art as a message, it’s more important to get the story across then be concerned with the white noise that may be playing right behind it.
On stage, Janet’s choreography, has electrified countless audience members. Her work on the Maggy Keegan Variety Hour played at iO West Theater in Los Angeles for two years. The show featured a cast of six dancers, six sketch performers, and a host.
Combining all of these talents into one jam packed Vaudeville gem has influenced her artistry in a large way. From Vaudeville she went on to explore in the Circus, Burlesque world with Atomic Entertainment. CirqEvolution was invented with like minded combinations. Her ability to conceive a show while incorporating specialty acts, has defined her artistry.
Janet’s dedication to the craft of performance art is just the beginning of what’s to come. To be true to the message and share with the world a new perspective through politics and passion, she’ll continue to create, remold, ask questions, and deliver.
Janet currently resides in New York City.
I have been in the industry since 2004.
