A wide variety of network level expertise in the commercial television field including: ENG (news, sports, and feature shooting) EFP (documentary, corporate, commercial, reality tv, promotions, etc.) sound technician, lighting, editing, field engineering, light maintenance, and microwave operations. Self Employed, Arizona 2/88 to the present. Offering Betacam, Dvcam, DVC Pro, and HD cam field production services based in Phoenix, AZ. Current clients are mostly network news, but also include cable as well as corporate clients, have traveled extensively including internationally in the course of my work.

ABC-TV, Los Angeles, California recalled from layoff. 7/87-2/88 Hired back full time as a studio field engineer. Assignments included both studio and field work. Field assignments as follows: ABC News, ABC Sports, 20/20, Nightline, Good Morning America, Eye on LA, and General Hospital field remotes. Studio assignments as follows: "Dolly Parton Show", "Who's the Boss"," Married with Children", and "General Hospital".

Specific duties included Cameraman/technician for field assignments and camera set up engineer for stage assignments. Lay off due to staff reductions again 2/88. Layoff based strictly on seniority.

Self-Employed Arizona 1/87-6/87 worked on a freelance basis after moving back to Video Assist Productions, Salt River Project video production unit, Gannett News Service, ESPN, Western Sports Productions.

KABC-TV Channel 7 , Los Angeles, California, 1/84-12/86. Laid off due to staff reductions. Hired by this ABC owned and operated station in January 1984 as a cameraman /technician. My duties included both shooting and sound technician

for daily news and sports stories as well as special segments for "Eyewitness News". these included Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer, Courtroom, Entertainment, Fashion, Food, Medical, Political, senior reports, and Travel. Additional duties included the complete set up and operation of microwave trucks and portable 2Ghz equipment for "live" remotes including signal orientation, transmitter operation, sound mixing, telephone IFB, and radio IFB use. Various trouble shooting experience with all ENG equipment including microwave trucks, cameras, and recorders. Have experience with aerial photography, from both fixed wing and helicopters, also experience with remote operations ("Live") from helicopters. And in the course of my regular duties with "Eyewitness News", I was on occasion assigned to work for the following other ABC programs: ABC News, ABC Sports, Good Morning America, 20/20, and Nightline. Additionally, I worked on the 1984 Summer Olympic games for ABC.

KPHO-TV Channel 5 Arizona, 8/76-12/83. Hired as a news engineer. My duties included maintenance of ENG equipment, set-up and operation of microwave truck for "live" operations and back up news photographer. Helped design and build the first KPHO microwave van. Assumed the position of full time news photographer 2/78. Responsibilities included shooting and editing daily news and sports assignments, and documentary shoots when needed. Experience with all phases of "live" remotes. Additional experience during this time period: freelance production work for various organizations including CNN, and Cable Health Network.
