About Me

I graduate in Summer 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Philosophy Politics and Economics. I achieved a second division upper classification in this. Between January and May 2012 I undertook an internship with the BBC in Belfast working within their production teams on the 'Stormont Today' show and the 'Sunday Politics' programme. Within this I carried out research for a weekly segment on the Sunday Politics Show, I edited clips using the Cinegy editing software, I contributed to weekly production meetings to discuss ideas for the following weeks show and I helped seek out and book interviewee's for the filming of the weekly segment which lead into live studio debate. I further developed professional skills working on the Stormont Today show as I was based off site at the Northern Ireland Assembly. Here I greeted and briefed guests on the debate for that evenings show. I also developed some radio production skills whilst based at the assembly operating the 'dalet' boards for live radio interviews.
