About Me

My name is Brandon R. Payan and I have been producing content independently for almost 6 years. I studied at the Art Institute of California in San Francisco for a year before finishing at the Academy of Art University in SF in 2008. I have produced two feature films, corporate videos and various web videos since 2008. I like to consider myself an all around filmmaker and a constant student in this field. I am proficient with Final Cut Pro 7, Celtx, Soundtrack Pro, Avid Pro tools, Color, DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop with experience in Adobe After effects, Premiere, Illustrator and many more.
I have experience operating most production equipment including but not limited to: DSLR cameras, Prosumer Video Cameras, shotgun microphones, Zoom H4n, TelePrompTers, dolly, follow focus, merlin steadicam, Green screen, lightning.
I like to do good work when committed on a project. I understand many aspects that are commonly overlooked by student filmmakers such as: Signal to noise ratio, keeping gear out of shots, consistent lighting, etc. Thank you for your time and consideration.
