In 2009, Nick graduated from Asbury University with a degree in Media Communication with an emphasis in film.
In the summer of 2008, he had the opportunity to participate as a production assistant for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation during the Beijing Olympics. He finished his last semester of education at the Los Angeles Film School Center, where he had the opportunity to create his own videos for class assignments, as well as DP a group video project. As part of the program at LAFSC, he also interned as a production assistant for Film Roman’s “Super Hero Squad.”
After graduation, he worked for a year as a cameraman, floor director, and promotions producer for a local news station (WPMT) in York, PA .
Still seeking a film related job , Nick was one of four people accepted for an internship with ARRI CSC, a camera rental house located in the NYC area. His training included troubled shooting magazines, which involved loading/unloading film stock and checking for scratches, and testing cameras and their accessories. He also received an overview of how the new Arri Alexa functioned.
Currently he has done freelance work such as wedding videos and a corporate video. On the side he has also done several inspirational videos for his church.
Nick loves the satisfaction of working hard with others and having created a project that is informative, creative, and entertaining. Hobbies include photography, Architecture, studying the Bible, playing piano, running, swimming, biking, and film/TV.
