I am a highly motivated and adaptable third generation Photographer/Visual Artist.
My linage started with my Grandfather (John Quirk Sr.) who was a Photographer in the 2nd world war and went on
to becoming a white house correspondent and a news photographer for over 40 years with WJAR/NBC. He captured
some of the most famous images in American history including the bombing of Japan and of JFK’s funeral.
My father (Jack Quirk) started out as a freelance Photo/Videographer at KOCO TV in Oklahoma chasing news and
Tornados. He went on
to becoming The Enid Bureau Chief for the station.
He now runs a TV/Film production company in Oklahoma, catering to companies like ABC, NBC The Weather
Channel, Discovery, along with many national corporate clients.
I started out as a still Photographer and have shot for newspapers; Fortune 500 companies; and have been published
in globally distributed material. For the past few years I have worked with my father learning the many aspects of
film and video production and about the fast pace of news production.
I am an expert in all things Adobe (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc...), and have been studying computers
and technology since the late 90’s. Today my portfolio ranges from Photography & Video editing; to 3D animation;
to Web Design.
I am looking to follow in the footsteps of my lineage and make an impact in the world of televised media.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
I have been in the industry since 2007.
