"You're just having fun, aren't you?" That is what my first screenwriting instructor said of my first assignment for his class. I had so much fun that I went on to take an eight week Hollywood style screenwriting class a few years later.
Acting as producer, director, camera, audio, sometimes lighting, and editing for my boutique documentary studio in northeastern New Mexico, I kept using my cadre of creative writing skills for narrative scriptwriting, treatment plans, production development, pitching original concepts, and even columns for the local paper.
Since closing the studio I have been honing my rewriting and reversal skills on original screenplays and specs for possible clients.
I have been in the industry since 2001.
