I am a graduate from Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy in Chicago, where I studied film and broadcast with a focus in Producing. My strength and passion is in assistant directing and producing. My skills include problem solving, on-set management, team building, organization and camera. Beyond that I have had many roles including camera operator, production manager, director, editor, assistant camera, script supervisor, production assistant, production coordinator, grip, and costume design.
Recently I have been First Assistant Directing for The Onion Labs on web originals such as "Youtube April Fools 2014," "DSW: Monopod," "Sanuk- Naked Man on the Street," "VMware: Guardian Angel" and "VMware: IT Support Group. I also spent the first part of my year volunteering at the Sundance Film Festival 2014 Film Festival as a Transportation coordinator.
My work includes Assistant Directing the indie feature film's "CHAT" and "Searching for Venice." PAing for the Bollywood feature film "Dhoom 3," "Anguish," and the tv show "Bad Girls Club 12." All shot in and around Chicago, Il. I have also been a runner/PA for a TOTH & Co photography/video shoot, a U.S. Cellular commercial and Ryder's Cup 2012 Gala. I also camera operated a flash mob for Avon products, stagehand for Lollapalooza tear down, and was a production assistant on "American Idol 12" and the indie feature film "Chicago ROT."
My duties have included taking care of actors, social media, scheduling (so much scheduling), securing locations, crowd control, checking in artists, loading/unloading gear, loading and packaging stages, helping camera and inventorying gear. More so, the independent features and shorts I've worked on previous had me building/scheduling crew, organizing contracts, research/development and editing.
